Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2024 Nov 11 9:00 am)
Great intro. Wish this clip had been there in the first week I was trying to learn Poser!
Especially like the way you walk us through your thinking on lights.

A good basic tutorial for the people who need it. Good job. I wish I had this in 2003 when I got started! LOLOL

I agree - a really good, simple approach to the basics that I think there is a real need for.
One thing, though: when loading conforming outfits, I often have problems if I have the last loaded clothing item selected, instead of re-selecting V4 before loading each one.
For example, I can spin an FBM dial in a skirt, and it does nothing to the skirt but changes the blouse instead (depending on the sequence I loaded them in).
This may only be an issue with super-conforming clothes, I'm not sure. But to avoid the issue entirely, I always re-select V4 before loading the next item.

Hi all,Gabe Sabloff here. I was inspired to do a Poser tutorial yesterday. I was quite underwhelmed by all the tutorials that were available, so I threw this together.
Instead of boring demos where people drone on about individual features, I opted for a speed render approach where you will see me zip through the creation of a sweet-looking render in under 10 mins.
Hope you enjoy it. (Make sure to watch in HD.)
