Click on the sun.
Look up in the window that's usually a material preview.
See if you have ANY softness other than 0 degrees in there. if you do, turn it to 0, then go into your light properties tab and see if its corrected itself in the shadows tab.

I am working in Vue 7.42 xstream and trying to adjust the shadows from the sun light. When I click on light properties and in the shadows tab, then check on use shadow map the two options projected hard shadows: Ray-trace hard shadows and soft shadow map - no hard shadows are grayed out and cannot click on either one.
I don't know what I did to cancel them out if its under my general preferences or under my atmosphere settings or what.
Any thoughts?
