Is anyone using Ali's Joint Smoother utility for V4 (also has one for V3)?

or

www.mankahoo.com/index.php

(Note: her solution to the morph channels issue was to make the utility something to modify your cr2 with rather than use an INJ pose.)

I downloaded the trial version, which only fixes the left side. My initial assessment so far:

  1. Elbow and knee bending issues: A very mild improvement over V4. Barely noticeable.

  2. Shoulder raise: Very mild improvement.

  3. Arm twists: Considerable improvement.

  4. Lifting of leg at thigh: Very noticeable improvement.

  5. Armpit with arm lowered: Very noticeable improvement... though, remember that Simple Details has a fix for this too, and IMO it probably looks slightly better from the back.

Note that Ali covers herself by saying that her product is only intended to work on default V4, not a FBM, but I tested (both my with and without-Joint Smoother ladies) on my most drastically-sculpted version of Sharon.

I'd want to work with this a bit more to decide on full value. It's a shame that Victoria needs this much work. (Which raises the V5 question all over again.)

Would I buy the full Joint Smoother? Not quite sure yet. (It runs around $12.) For sure it does some very valuable things. The fix of the leg bend at the hip is a big deal. And cleaning up the distortions with arm twists is also significant.

I kinda wonder what the full version of Simple Details V4 fixes will include, and at what price (the underarm fix is a "lite" version of something forthcoming).

And I'd also want to do some serious testing on a V4 closer to default. I'm no doubt making things worse by using my heavily sculpted character.

So... anyone else here have the full version and care to weigh in?
