Subject: Help with V4 Bodysuit

Hey guys, i need your help. I have two questions:

  1. As you can see in the attached image, i have a problem with V4 bodysuit. Check out the bottom of the t-shirt, and you'll notice it's sawed. I used one of the build-in bodysuit forms. But, as soon as i apply the morphs (in this case, it is v4 elite) the border gets like this. Perhaps i should use a trans-map instead of the build-in template?
  2. I want to make this border (the bottom of the t-shirt) more volumetric. I tried using a bump map, but it does not achieve the effect i desire. I want the t-shirt to look real, and for that purpose i need to enhance all the borders. (the borders in the arms and in the belly). Otherwise, the whole t-shit will look like this... like an akward bodypaint.

I think it could be done with a transmap and a bumpmap. I've attached a quick and dirty test. At the lower hem of the shirt there's a bumpmap applied. Simply three lines next to each other, the middle one is a dotted line.

Well... i did what you suggested. I used a transmap and did a quick render. The problem is that it works only if you use the standard V4 figure. As soon as you apply the morph, the t-shirt gets deformed.
Does anyone know a way to prevent this?

You could now adjust the transmap to compensate the distortion. It's a bit of try and error process.

Yup, as soon as you apply morphs the vertices move from the position used to generate the uv map.  Using displacement rather than bunb might get you a better looking edge. It will show better from most angles.
