Hi

i would think, an option to bundle existing products togehter and sell them a little cheaper would be a great option.

At the moment this only works by opening a new product and upload all products into one file, however, i think a different option for bundling by using existing and already uploaded products and bundle them togehter would be a cool option ....

I think you can already do that in the MP? I know of several vendors who have single products in their stores, but also have bundled them up for sale also.

I'll check for you to make certain, but I think they can do that already.

HI Jumstartme.

I understand that this needs all products to be zipped to one and then reissued.
For me in particular thats an issue as all my products add up to about 40 meg of size. If i would like to bundle 5 of them, i easly break a mark of 200meg which is not possible for uploading digital content....

If there are other chances, that would be cool!

Let me check some more..Its been awhile since I left the testing area, but I think they increased the MB upload size for zips, and if I remember correctly they also increased the number of zips..it used to be 2 but I think they increased that to 3.

At anyrate, I'll get it checked for you :)

Not yet Im afraid :sad: The MP staff are out of the office till Monday morning, but I have an email at the ready :) I'll let you know what I find out.

Well  the MB size last I heard is 60 MB per zip, and they increased the amount of zips to 3...so thats a total of 180 MB per package.

hm, no , not really. the 2260 series set is already about five products, each of about 45 meg.
thats about 235 meg ...

well. have to find other ways then

what i dont understand is, why there is no database function to solve this as all the products are already there and tested? To my understanding it would only be a case of assembling a function to allow multiple products been purchased with one buy.

Well I have heard from the MP admin, and she states that products already active in the store cannot be bundled. You would have to bundle the products and upload it as a separate product.

As of right now there are no plans to change anything regarding the bundling of products.
