Subject: Double Icons in Library - Poser 8

I am getting duplicate item icons on a bunch of my runtimes.

It's a known P8 bug. If you refresh a second time, it should correct itself.
It should be sorted in SR1.

In all categories, or in the Materials folder?  This is something that can happen in the Materials folder, if you have a Materials File (.mt5) and a Materials Collection (.mc6) that have the same filename, but I don't think it should happen anywhere else.

edit: or that ^^

Quote - I am getting duplicate item icons on a bunch of my runtimes.

Most likely reason is that you uncompressed the files and kept the originals.

Ah that's a good point (*.cr2 and *.crz for example).

Once and a while I have to do the double refresh trick posted by ratscloset and as mentioned above. I only see it when adding new content and doing the first refresh. Never on a complete restart of poser.

Sort of OT: Older daz content does not come with jpg's. P8 will not generate them on the fly like P7-PPro does. If installing new -old daz content without icons, just touch the folder with an older version of poser and you are good to go in P8 (unless it is masked by an alpha channel which is a common issue on old daz Mac content)

Hover over the duplicates and compare the file names. If you see identical filenames, then it is a bug. If you see the compressed and uncompressed versions of the same files, remove the duplicates, because they are real.

Renderosity forum reply notifications are wonky. If I read a follow-up in a thread, but I don't myself reply, then notifications no longer happen AT ALL on that thread. So if I seem to be ignoring a question, that's why. (Updated September 23, 2019)

BB it is a known Bug. Ratscloset posted words to that effect over a week ago and the second refresh trick.
