Subject: Help w/ figure painting...

Hmm.. I drew this and now am painting it in photoshop .. I was just wondering how to make it look more realistic.. any comments/suggestions welcome... thank you.. -Scott

Why try to make it more realistic... I think it's great as it is..

One trick worth trying is, import it into a vector prog such as Corel Draw or Xara, and trace the outlines. Clean up any odd bits, then export the vector trace back into PS as paths. (Best way is via Illustrator). From the paths you can then stroke the lines and build up masks. Its a fancy trick, but very effective.
