Subject: Poser 8 - IDL Parse error

I keep getting this message when I use IDL in a new scene:

"Parse error: not well formed (invalid token) at line 34"

This only seems to happen when I start a new scene. If I open an older one that uses IDL it's okay.

Is this a known bug?

Go to the Smith Micro Help site,  there are several other issue current with poser 8..  I have stopped using P8 and gone back to Poser Pro until the bugs are exterminated..

I´ve contacted SM about the problem. As for switching back to Pro I did that afterI first started using P8. P8 wasn't rendering any faster the PPro and I really missed the render in background option (and I still do). But after installing P8 again it renders so much faster plus there are other new features that I haven't tried out yet.  It's been pretty stable and SR1 is around the corner so I think I´ll stick with P8 from here on.

Problem solved. It was a corrupt preference and I just had to delete my preference files.
