Subject: A TY2 question

Can Ty2 take any other characters textures?

And are there any really good photorealistic texture available?

Texture Converter (DAZ) could probably do it... otherwise I'm thinking probably not.

I looked at TC2 and couldn't find a plugin for TY2. :(

Tenshi for TY2 by SaintFox is a damn fine texture, actually. If you want to see the uses of it, you can also check out my gallery... Any of the pictures of my female character Miyuna (when she has the darker skin, that is) will showcase that texture.

 

Currently using Poser Pro 2012 (Display Units = feet)

You're welcome! I also recommend Billy-T's Jun character for TY2. Comes with a nice hair prop, too. Heck, I recommend all of Billy-T's TY2 stuff. :D

At the moment TC2 will convert Generation 3 and 4 DAZ characters and Miki2.  There was talk of potential G2 Character support but that has not happened yet.  Unfortunately, there is no TY2 support at all.

Yeah I noticed- went and looked em up. It really sucks too cause TY2 is such a great character.

The gen Vic's just don't do ethnics very well. Olivia G2 is the BEST black character.
TY2 makes a GREAT Japanese girl with a bit of tweeking.

The vickys just don't measure up.

One of these days I might remap TY2 to V3, but it'll be awhile yet.

I can second that one - it's one of the few non-DAZ figures that truly kick butt, and any new stuff for it would be very warmly welcomed.
