The search function here is generally crap.
LEMOG's textures are usually good, there's a cinder blocl texture here: http://www.lemog.fr/lemog_textures/displayimage.php?album=31&pos=27 - I suppose you could clone out the writing fairly easily. It's seamless and royalty free.

Wheatpenny's freestuff has some court-related stuff you might be able to use.
I ain't on my regular Poser box right now but I have made some very good brick walls using the Material Room nodes. I can't think of any good reason why cinderblock walls should be any different. I may have a faff around later, if I come up with owt, I'll let yer know.

its all image based textures but most had bump or transparency maps . Might be something you can use there.

I made this construction set awhile back, might be something in it that you can use. ps, I do go by athor at other sites.I must remember to remember what it was I had to remember.

Also try the free Genetica material-creator system. It outputs both the color and the bump map for all sorts of repetitive patterns including concrete blocks. You can then use Poser's tiling function to "multiply" the single seamless pattern.http://spiralgraphics.biz/release3-23-09.htm

Sometimes someone will do a scene, maybe years back... and then everyone stays away from replicating it which is too bad. Richibabri for instance has an Interrogation Room which is quite nice and useful in my opinion but then maybe it is hard to find a different style of the same thing if you are looking for a different sort of look because people are afraid to duplicate the effort. Richichabris is a nice big room but the rooms in my region actually used are much smaller and almost closet like.
Of course there is no limit to the number of steel bikinis available but I think in ten years I have found less than half a dozen remotely believable sofas made for Poser. But there is a tendency for people to discourage both consumers looking for a new take on a certain thing or vendors/freebie makers releasing a new version. I am sure TG is plenty happy people persisted in making saunas and dressing rooms even after she put hers in the store... all the different saunas are all different! I am just surprised there is no end to slightly different versions of the steel bikini but something of such obvious practical and artistic use as the justice scenes done by Wheatpenny are far more difficult to come by.
Take the different police shows on TV in the US all by Jerry Bruckhiemer, each show has a very different Interrogation Room design and style... anyone of these styles would be really cool to have in Poser but their is this tendency in Poser among some people that if you are looking for a style different from the first instance that comes to their mind they think you are a lout. Wheatpenny and others have done some nice stuff at a certain resolution but that doesn't mean I have not overlook someone else who has done a stunning job intended for a different rendering style.
Not all Poser content comes from DAZ, RMP and the regular suspects... there is quite fine work in some of the specialty stores but it is damn hard to find it. You happen on a specialty store, it is not relevant to the work you are doing then but some years later you are stuck trying to track down that store that has eight different kinds of North American Elk rigged for Poser.
Personally, I am sad for having lost a lot of my listing or arcane mesh sources to a disc crash... you can search RMP and DAZ high and low for a simple real world style sofa to no avail but there was a site for interior designers that had insanely accurate .obj downloads. Yet if you ask for help finding a good sofa there are people who will pound you for not being satisfied with the wildly inacurate couch designs on ShareCG or Freestuff.
Thing is... if you ask then maybe someone will remember that strange off-the-beaten track source. For instance there is a company that has incredibly accurate models of all the doors they manufacture available as downloads from Google 3D Warehouse. That source also has accurate IKEA shelving. That company that makes those very high-end executive office chairs used to have fee mesh downloads too.
I almost always end up using modified textures on Gerald Day scenes (which rock!) but still every few years I try to find certain things I don't think are too essoteric. It is more likely to find good new Police and Justice Scenes I would think then say an accurate church bingo or a detailed shoe repair shop.
I find bits and pieces here and there, aery soul's tile wall, a 3ds of a n egg carton flat etc. but if someone knows of a pulled together cinder block basement or interogation room I feel it is okay for me to ask... I am picky... so often brick walls in Poser are innacurately scaled and have visible repeats, I'm talking commercial products... I have to rescale textures, Photoshop them and then Post-work... but then I think there most be someone else who has done this all before and made a really sweet scene better than what I have jury rigged together... may just not be in the big store or findable even if it is there but someone might know about it.
In this case http://www.sharecg.com/v/28135/poser/Athors_MegaConstructionKit.zip does seem to be the best cinder block wall out there... also I must find Dr. Geeps old tutorial... there was a shading issue on the texture he provided but it should be fixable in Photoshop. I vave some nicely modeled file boxes from the old CntrCmdEsc Cartoonist's Studio and maybe I can find a descent warehouse and some warehouse shelving to put those on. I'll take another look at that wheatpenny stuff -- thank you for putting those in Freestuff!!

items without titties just don't sell very well. When Richabri or MacLean makes
a certain kind of room, there's no point in building an alternate version of that room;
the already small market for that item has been saturated.

Ockham, you are right. I wish I could afford more of your store stuff but times are lean for me. I just am stuck back in the twentieth century with Poser. I miss the old dyas when it was more DYI then a consumer hobby. I don't think I purchased any content other than the Victoria 2 Reduced Resolution base until Poser 6 came out. There was a lot of cool sharing then... I had a site personally with hundreds of Posette and Dork Morphs I had made along with other stuff. Too sick now to model and texture and code like I did back then. Really I regret the scene moving from Poser 4 in a way (actually my favorite was PoserProPack)... now it is trying to be MAX or something, a hi-CGI but back then it was very primitive and the work had its own look and people achieved so much pushing the simple .cr2 and .pz2 files current the. I got more work done back when painting clothes and hair in post-work was the state of the art... people used a simpler app and content and focused on narrative and composition and inventivness and now Poser work is more like other high end CGI without that sown home primitive work. I used to make so many more scenes then... even often just exporting Poser preview screens to Photoshop for Post work. I swear I would still use the old PoserProPack if it could load libraries with sub-folder etc. I feel I caught myself in a productivity sink hole with trying to get "Render Realism". Look at my gallery and you'll see the changes I'm talking about in my own work. I just feel Poser is so market driven now with so few people left like you who just share no how and expertise as a reward in itself.
nrudock, thanks. I'll check the link. You know when it happens that you and a certain person just can't communicate... for some reaason I just can't figure out BginsBill's stuff like everyone else... I'm tuned on a different wavelength. He has been a good sport and tried with me but I am just overwhelmed by things like his tools... the results people get are great but I'm just insufferably dumb about them which is too bad because I sure like what other people get from them :)

LOL, I still use P4 and render a lot in Vue or other apps, so I'm enough of a luddite(?) to agree that that was Poser's 'Golden Age.' There has been a distinct shift toward the more technical aspects of the app - understandable since there are many more buttons to push now. I do miss even the silly old 'what is art,' or AOM conspiracy threads here. I glance over the tech threads just to keep a hand in but they are largely irrelevant for me - render settings being the least portable thing between applications. It seems that the pursuit of realism through technical means has taken the fore. It would be foolish not to use new capabilities, still ... Of course, the older you get, the better the picture in the rear view mirror becomes :-)

Here's some real world seating.Red arrow points to the mortar color.
Blue arrow points to the block color.
Yellow arrow points to the overall scale. You're prop's UV map scale may require you adjust this number.
If the UV map is not the same scale in width and height, you may need to adjust Brick_Width in the Brick node.
Adjust overall color in Diffuse_Color and overall brightness in Diffuse_Value.
This is not a GC shader, so results will be different in Poser 7, Poser 8, and Poser Pro.
