Uh oh

I think  I am asking a lot here:

I am running  a legal  copy  of  CS2

but I do  not have the disc anymore.

I need to  reinstall Windows  XP  and wipe EVERYTHING  off of my   HD.

Is there any way-  including with Adobe's help-
that  I can  recover my license  key  and
/or  authentication  code,   and  find  the install files  on  my  current  set up ....so  that i can  copy and save these to  external disc before I wipe  the HD ????

I am going to  try  and reinstall without  disc.

Hello, I would definitely contact Adobe regarding this matter.

yeah, you need to contact Adobe, and "deactivate" your version of PS (which should appear in Adobes' database as being ready to be activated again). but i would DEFINITELY contact Adobe first and explain your predicament  .

hope it helps

Are you a student? If so, you should be able to pick a copy up quite cheaply.

If you run Belarc Advisor (a free utility) it will tell your CS2 serial number.  Funny, I have both CS2 & CS4 on my laptop, but it didn't list the license key for CS4.
