Subject: Poser Physics updates?

jwiede ( ) posted Sat, 24 October 2009 at 3:29 PM · edited Fri, 29 November 2024 at 6:29 AM

Does anyone know where to obtain PoserPhysics updates?  I went to the Physicalc software forums, but they seemed pretty broken (error on any search, no ability to register, etc.).  I purchased it some time ago on the now-departed "old CP", and haven't been able to determine whether I now need to buy it again from an actively-supported source to get updates, else where to get updates.

Thanks!

Poser Physics is currently available in the "new" CP store under "Plugins&Scripts".  The detail indicates Poser 6, 7 & Pro.  Nice to know it also seems to work with Poser 8.

Wolf, didn't you do your animation reals with "Poser Physics" or is that another program?

Smith micro dont honor any updates for poser physics,i missed the update and even though i have got the update in my account on the old content paradise. I will not buy anything from content paradise because of their time limed access to what you have bought. so im sticking with the Poser Physics Version 1 as im not giving them $50....what a joke

**PoserPhysics for Poser 7**

OK  so this works for Poser 7 and Poser Pro, but can you make animations for V4?

eg boxing wrestling grapple rolling on the ground combos???

does anybody have any samples of anykind of work done with PoserPhysics?

thanks all

No you have to learn to animate such motions yourself

Poser Physics
is a powerful COLLISION DYNAMICS
Solver that Creates Ragdoll and Hard body Simulation in poser

OK thanks I have all your great products**, is there any software out there that can assist me?
I am able to use the timing graphs pretty well on Poser 7 and PPRO.  Can you suggest something?
I'm currently doing a vampire fight series, so any help would be great, even how I can use your product to make two figures approach one another.  right now I can only get your V4 to walk in one direction, how could i get two to approach.  Walking, stalking, tackling and rolling between two intereacting bodies are the hardest to do, anything else I've been able to do very well on my own.

Hi there is no "product "per se that will automaticly make two in V4's have a cat fight. Such  an animation has to be key framed
by hand or you can get two actresses and mocap them fighting with some marker based performance $$capture$$ equipment
the only thing I have seen that has
to two people wrestling is
THIS
animated pose set for the Older Daz Freak figure.

Eclipse Studios (www.es3d.com) has some motion sets that include boxing, tackling and a few other 2-character sets that look pretty sweet. If you search you can find some mocap in other formats that also have 2-character sets. In fact, I'm pretty sure I've seen a set for 3DS Max biped that actually includes a cat fight between two women. It's fairly easy to convert biped animation to Poser if you know someone who uses MotionBuilder and, in fact, there's a tutorial on the Autodesk forum that pretty much describes how to do it.
