I'm having an intermittent problem with P8 SR1 for Mac. Sometimes when I save a scene or save a morphed figure to the library, I get an error message to the effect that there is not enough memory to save the binary morph targets. (P8 is quite wrong about the memory, there are 6-7 GB of RAM available after the message; something else is generating this false error)
After such a message, when I reopen the scene or load the character, the custom morph is hosed. That is, the parameter dial is set to 1, but the morph is gone and twisting the dial in any direction does nothing.
This problem seems to be random, but perhaps it's not. Sometimes I can save the same morphed figure again immediately after the error and it will save OK this time. More rarely there will be no error message at all but the morph will still be wrecked as described above upon reopening.
Anyone know what conditions cause this problem and how to avoid it? Or is it simply a bug that must be fixed in SR2?
