If they are copy protected I believe you will have to redownload them for your version.

There is a thread on this already started by me, it is a problem that shouldn't be there according to e-on, but it is as numerous peeps have stated.
Do us all a favour and open a ticket on it, if you don't they won't realise the full scale of the problem.
As to the actually problem, there are two solutions, either reset your downloads for Vue 8 or 7.5 and re-download and install again, this is what I had to do with over 30 objects including plants and water objects, a real disgrace!
The second one, which I haven't tried is to open them in Vue 7.5 if you have it, and resave them in that, they should then open in Vue 8....so I'm told, but I haven't tried it.

Thanks Fixer I've opened a ticket as you suggested. the solution suggested by you with opening the object in an ealier version and then re saving, works, but I now have almost 1,000 items in my purchased content. Just imagine re installing that. :-(

One way or another you are going to have to I'm afraid, well if they are content protected anyway.

Wow, a thousand, I don't envy you that, 30+ was bad enough!
It really shouldn't be like this, imagine if I had to redownload all my Poser content for instance, literally thousands of stuff, it would take weeks or Months to sort out each time.....New software should be backwards compatible regardless of how you purchased the models, copy protected or not, you still bought them for your use in the same application, it's just ridiculous!

Just got a reply from Lee Randall
"Hi Adriaan Pieter,
We are looking into the problem and hopefully will have it straightened out shortly.
Best regards.
Lee Randall"
They had better fix this or I'll never buy Cornucopia content again. :-(

I have been in correspondence with Cornucopia3d a number of times and they have said that this is normal. If you look at their Store FAQ, it will state that their content (non brokered) is dependent on version. (I have paraphrased this). If it doesn't load in Vue 8, it has to be redownloaded. They will reset the downloads. This, of course, is true with locked to license. I have been using Vue since version 4 and have been downloading shortly after cornucopia3d started. This is the first time this has happened.
My first experience was with Martin Frost's Roses. I had to redownload the Cornucopia3d Roses because his product is based on that. I thought there was a problem so I e-mailed Cornucopia3d.
I downloaded a bunch of stuff and am continually finding more. This is a royal pain in the ............and very time consuming.

Anybody else having problems with Vue 8 Infinite not reading objects/files purchased with/for previous versions?
Plants are OK and load just fine.
