I'm back in the workforce, but have a lot of free time to kill. Was thinking about Topmod, which we had a thread on in here a few months ago. Well, evidently they've reimagined it, because it looks a lot easier to figure out. Here's the new look.

NOTE - it exports objects, which can be used in Bryce...so there...;)

I can only model with Bryce, but I have downloaded this.
Can always try, huh? ;-)

Thanks for the link.

I love TopMod and have used it in the past. HERE.

(wow, that render was 3 years ago...time FLIES, lol)

But, TopMod had a bit of a unique learning curve to it. I'll have to check out the new version, see if I find it any more user-friendly. It is capable of making some truly cool looking objects, if you can wrap your head around it.

well, that takes care of the Rotating Knives...;)
Actually, I'm finding it a bit more hard to figure out than I thought...;)
Evidently, you choose primitives, and can choose 'deformers', but I haven't had much luck with 'extrude', etc.
STill, if you can't load stuff on the work machine, your choices are limited. I'm having better luck with Anim8tor...;)
Heh, take it or leave it...;)

I LIKE IT!

The 2.x version makes selecting and deleting large areas of poly's a LOT easier now!

It's still a strange little program in the vein of learning it well, but its VERY cool to have around. Gotta love freeware, lol.

Thanks for the heads up on the newer version pakled!

Hey AS, did you say a while back that you worked on that Christmas Carol movie with Jim Carey? If so are you credited on it? I'd go to watch it just to see that!

Yup, I worked on "A Christmas Carol".

Actually, you will see the rarely used "real name" in the credits, lol.

I'm under "Motion Capture Artists",  "Kirk Dunne".

They spelled it right and everything, lol.

Alright, one more render with my topmod object I made last night.

Fairly abstract and yes, clad in leather. Why not?
