I've just upgraded from Vue7 ProStudio to Vue8 Studio and are having poser object probs.
A room made up of multiple parts (walls, doors etc) is showing some of the objects but not others. Unfortunetly not seeing a patern or anything?

The objects where imported from Poser 7, using Win7 64bit.

I'm guessing Ive missed something obvous, ie I'm being stupid again.

Always try and post systems specs, in case that is an issue, but doubt it is in this case? :)

Are the objects RENDERING ok, as I've heard of bug where an object may not show in 3D window, but does show in renders, or it maye be a different issue obescuring the object in 3D?

i7 920, 6g ram, Win7 64bit.

A few parts are visible but the rest are not in both, I guess they are there as the objects are listed in the imported group.
Unfortunetly most are not visible?
Doesnt seem to matter what import options I choose.
Opened up the textures just in case something was different with the invisible objects, but cant see anything different?

Never had this with version 7.

There are 2 possibilities I know of:

  • are the objects grouped in different layers? I had the exact same behaviour when I cleaned up a scene and moved things into a sub-layer. The objects moved into sublayers were only visible when I selected that layer with the mouse.

  • play around with the OpenGL settings.

one layer as far as I can tell.
