Short answer: Not really.
Longer Answer: They are distinct characters with different names and images. I'm no lawyer but I don't think anyone could make a case that there was any similarity between them except their first name and the use of alliteration between their two names. Nor am I attempting to pass DD off as being anything to do with or like Dragon's Lair or any character that appears in it.
Anyway DD's a brunette and Dirk the Daring is clearly a blond

I read
Read the first DirkDangerous.com exclusive story, One of THOSE days, now.
but didn't see any pictures - just story words. not a bad story but it didn't end or continue anywhere that I could see
Love esther
I aim to update it about once a month. Oh, and it's free!
Glad you liked One of THOSE days is sort of a little bridge between The Steward, the Kriegsherr, his Femme Fatale & her Brother which comes before it and Dirk Dangerous and the Giant Balls of Doom which comes after it.
Sorry you missed the pictures - all the banner images were made with Vue - even the ones that don't look very Vueish, (if that's a word)

ps you write very well - nice and fast - the way I like my stories to be.

Glad you like the pacing - I cut about 10-20% of the text after writing to speed things up.

I've just put www.DirkDangerous.com live as the home for a connected set of short stories I've written. All the artwork for the site was made using Vue and Poser so its not entirely off topic.
