Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2024 Dec 27 9:24 pm)
Poser is setup by default for autokey animating. What this means is that anytime you make a change, it keyframes the item you changed for frame you are currently on. I'm at work and don't have Poser in front of me at the moment, so hopefully someone will know where you can find these options, but: If you want, you turn animating off for your cameras or any other item (body part, prop, etc). You can also turn autokeying off so you have to hit the keyframe button for each key frame you want to make.
What I usually do is keep the Dolly Camera set aside as the camera that will actually record the animation. I only move the dolly camera to animate it. To check out the other angles of my scene, check poses, positioning and such I will flip between my Main, Aux, Posing, Face and Hand cameras...since I won't be rendering the animation with these cameras, I don't care if they get keyframed or not because it has no effect on the final product.
Hope this helps.

I am completely new with this program. I love it and between working with the manual and going to some great sites I am slowly learning it. I am having problems finding information on creating scenes. When moving around the scene, sometimes there is more animation then I want. It's like if I move the camera, it creates new scenes in the animation. What am I doing wrong. I finally figured out the key frames-reading does help. But can't figure this other stuff out. Any help will help. Thank you
