Any modelling program that has curves should allow you to create a (half) profile and the revolve (or lathe) it to create a surface.
Failing that you could get much the same effect by starting with a cylinder and then scaling individual rings to achieve the desired shape.
Once you have an object export as OBJ and import into Bryce.
Finally if your that way inclined, you may be able to use booleans to put something together.
Daz has some Morrocon style stuff....maybe you can use some of it.

Thanks to everyone for the responses. I've tried the boolean route and the squashed tear drop and I've got close but not quite what I wanted. I'll have a look at the moroccan things that Daz have for sale.
Bec, I'd love those meshes. Can you tell me what you did in Wings (I've used it but not for a while) to get those as they look great.
Basically I took a cone (right click on the screen to bring up the primitives menu), & selected all the vertical edges, and cut and connected them (again, right click to bring up the cut and connect commands) to create the horizontal lines. Select a horizontal edge and go to "select-edge loop-edge loop" to select a ring all the way around the cone. Then go to "scale-scale radial-radial Y" to increase or decrease the size of the ring. You can do this to more than one ring at the same time if you want. Do this til you get the shape you want.
I have to go and won't have computer access for the day, so if you want to know how to do the indents and twist, I can't do that til later today. You can download the latest version of Wings in the Wings forum; I think by clicking on the Wings banner. Uncle, IM me with your email address if you want the meshes I have already made.
Sorry, gotta go!
Bec

Hi, not been on here in ages. My musical partner has asked me to do some stuff in an Arabian Nights theme and I'm having real problems finding, or building, "Onion Domes" (the kind of stuff you see on the top of minarets, etc in the Middle East).
Anyone know either how to make them or where I can get some? I don't mind paying if necessary.
Thanks.
