Subject: Underwater question

Well, I'm wading into Vue 8 (pun semi-intended) with an underwater picture. I have tried the different water gels on different lights but the effect is always too spread out and faint. Anybody have a good suggestion or a pointer to a tutorial on underwater caustics?

Thanx!

There's a scene with water caustics in Vue sample scenes, that could help. I already played with it a bit a long time ago and the caustics looked good.

When I remember it right, in the Monsson package The Deep" you have someexcellent  example scenes as well. The Deep is a great package for underwater scenes and is (now) available at Cornucopia3D.

One day your ship comes in - but you're at the airport.

Thanx! I'll check both out.
