Subject: Need help finding a file

cujoe_da_man ( ) posted Mon, 01 February 2010 at 10:44 AM · edited Mon, 23 December 2024 at 7:44 PM

This one is from way back in the day, it's "Boobrepli's Plastic Surgery Kit".  I've started doing a total reinstall of my libraries and have found many corrupted DAZ files along with this one also.  I've looked everywhere, but it seems as though Boobrepli no longer exists and I have no other way to install this file.

Any help would be appreciated :D

If its from Daz you should be able to get a reset of your download from your orders history, or contact sales support.

If you search for the phrase in quotes in Google, it will give a four-year-old link to a Forum site I can't post the link to here. 😉

In that post, it gives the name of a site with a colloquial term for a breast in the title that it could be downloaded from in the past (it apparently was a freebie).  Plug that site name into the Internet Archive at www.archive.org, and it may be possible to get the file.

It also gives a location in Second Life that the artist ran back then, so it may be possible to contact him via that route...

To save you the decoding, the wayback machine (internet archive) pages for his site come up blank - for me at least.

I have the psurgeryv2beta.zip file but the readme is ambiguous about whether it can be redistributed. If you search freestuff here for 'ultimate breast', willdial has several packages that can achieve a degree of zeppelin-like inflation that boobrepli would probably approve of :-)

I was able to acquire it from the Archive (it has been very flakey over the last couple of weeks) , and the license.txt file seems to say that it may be freely distributed:

"This item may NOT being sold EVER, this is created to be distributed freely on the internet!"*

Yeah, I downloaded it. He was a figure on the pr0n sites about 5-6 years ago, and got into some trouble, and disappeared...and that's all I'm gonna say about that. For V3, I think.

Willdial has something similar, and I think it might still be in Freebies.

lol, thanks for all the replies, everyone, but someone emailed me and told me how to find it in the internet archive before anyone even replied :P  glad to have everyone's help on this, I'm one step closer to rebuilding my libraries and replacing corrupted files
