My latest creation! Wysteria, the May Day Princess :) The hair is a totally new creation, and was just finished late last night at long last after slaving over it for months now! Woohoo! The Wings are a fully functioning figure, not a prop, and have dials to make it easier to pose :) Tell me what you think? :)

That is very nice. I'm not much into winged people, but the figure is certainly well done.

Ah, the wings, and the ear morphs are removable, so that she becomes just another pretty blondie ;p

I love that hair!

Great work! [Drool] Will you be offering that in the store?!

Mehndi ( ) posted Tue, 24 April 2001 at 9:16 AM

Thank you Kate :) it will be included in a free sample prop version with only one morph with Wysteria, as a bonus, and then sold as a full version with many many styles, and colors of textures as a seperate product... the seperate one will be an actual posable figure too, not a prop :) It is gonna take a bit longer to get ready, but is almost there :P Lord hair is not easy... I have had over 1200 megs of Bad Hair days... till late last night when it suddenly all began coming together at last ;p

Lovely work, Mehndi, as always. And we've needed some braided hair for a while now. Glad it's coming together... Yipes, i've thought about how to braid digitally, and it makes my head hurt. :^)

The figure is nice, but the hair is what interests me. Depending on price, I may buy it just for the hair.

She is lovely. I also love her hair! She will be a great addition to anyones poser character collection :)

Beyond beautiful, Liz! Completely different from Delilah, and yet every bit as compelling. As to that hair -- to say I am impressed and thrilled would be a huge understatement. It is sublime :)))))

Again, thank you all for the wonderful words of cheer, compliments, and encouragement :) I could not have done it at all without all I have learned from the Hair God himself, Kozaburo, and so I would like to thank him, who has taught us all what good hair should look like. Just so you all know, the hair pictured there is a very ordinary hair prop style hair piece. I have given it one morph set, to toss it over the right shoulder as shown. I think I am going to include that hair prop as a freebie (or whatever other freebie but it is merely a "sample" so you can see how the hair renders from all angles and maybe get some use of it in certain poses. It wont work for all poses(unless someone invested alot of time in morphs). The goal being to tempt/lure (yeah thats right, Im luring and tempting you now...) to purchase the full hair product ;p The hair in it's full release version will be a much more versatile piece, with many many morphs, as well as constructed differently. Not a static prop, but an actual figure. This will give the ability to pose it quite a bit, then with various morphs for additional poses included, as well as various style morphs to change the hair style itself into various ways to wear this style. And your Black/Brunette/Auburn/Blonde package of textures too. This full version of the hair wont be done for a bit though, still working on it's styles. Thank you all for your compliments :) Lord they are nice to hear, after all the many months now of struggling to learn to do a decent hair model. One last thought... this hair is very complex. Over 100 objects were originally created to construct it from. The textures are a good size and render nicely up close too. So it is LARGE. There is no file size humility going on here... though I have optimized it severely, and managed to get the file size to half of what it was in the mesh... it is still LARGE ;p Over 3 megs just for the prop version. Will be larger still even for the full figure version with all the extra styling morphs. I am not having any trouble however in loading it or running it on my machine... despite its size :)

Beautiful work... Peffection.. :) Reminds me of my hair way, way back when I got married.. Except for the fact I have brown hair and had no bangs...
