Subject: Camera Control Question

Orestes ( ) posted Tue, 02 March 2010 at 4:26 PM · edited Tue, 03 December 2024 at 8:21 AM

I almost hate to ask this, it's most likely something so simple I'm missing it, but you do you roll/bank your camera in Vue? Tilt the angle so that the horizon isn't level? I'm beating my head off my desk on this one, there is no button control for it like in most apps, and turning the camera with the world rotation controls only alter its pitch and angle. If it matters I'm using Vue 7 Pro Studio.

Any help on this before I pull all my hair out would be greatly appreciated. :scared:

If you select the camera and look at the object properties panel (top right) you'll see a button that, if you hover it, will say something like "always keep level". Untick it and your camera is free for rolling. Hope that helps.

It took me a few minutes to find it, but yes that did the trick and i got what I wanted. That's the strangest way of going about camerea banking I've ever seen in any program. :glare:

Thanks so much for the help.
