Subject: teh origin of teh brush

hi i work in ps cs3 mac os x.

any idea on how to make brushes?  u know how on deviant art and other art sites, u can downlaod ps brushes....how can u make one urself?

i dont understand the 2 tutorials out there?

plz simplify or sumthing..

I don't know if on Mac it's very different, I'm on a pc, but all you have to do when you have an image that you want to convert to a brush really is select it, then go to edit/define brush preset.  If you make many of them and want to save them all in a set, go to edit/preset manager then select all the brushes you want to save in one set (select more then one by clicking ctrl + the brushes you want to add) and then click the "save set" button.  

It gets a little bit more complicated when you want to make them dynamic though and like I said, that's on a pc, I have no idea if it's the same procedure on a mac.

yes, its the same stuff as pc, only the gui is slightly differnet.
