Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2025 Jan 03 7:06 am)
With both Poser's open, it would appear both libraries were sending messages to the first copy of Poser that you launched.
This isn't supposed to happen. Please report to SM It isn't something I can fix - they need to fix the server port allocation and GUI launcher.
Renderosity forum reply notifications are wonky. If I read a follow-up in a thread, but I don't myself reply, then notifications no longer happen AT ALL on that thread. So if I seem to be ignoring a question, that's why. (Updated September 23, 2019)
I noted the same thing earlier, when I was using P8 and the PP2010 beta. Apparently that didn't get resolved. I thought I had reported it.

I had PoserPro 2010 running, working on a scene. I decided I wanted to put another basic scene together and started up Poser 8. So far so good.
I double-clicked the prop I wanted in the P8 Library, but it didn't load into the scene.
When I switched back to PP2010... there was the prop! The one that was supposed to load in P8!
Also noticed that my mouse's scroll wheel has no effect in the PP2010 library, I have to grab that skinny scroll bar and use that. (This is my only gripe about PP2010, by the way, otherwise I think it's fantastic).
