What is the best way for hiding M4 ears? Some custom morph or transparency maps? or some other...

Morphs would be best. A trans map would leave holes in the head which would work if you are using a cowl or hood, but otherwise not so good.

You can find some no ear morphs in the freestuff, search for ears, or you could make your own with a modeling program like ZBrush

A morph is best.

If there isn't an M4 specific one, youu could start with the V4 one (see attached link).
