"Memristors", basically, think of your current quad core CPU...compare it to a 1970s electronic calculator.
THAT is what these little babies could do to CPU power, HAL9000 here we come! ;)
basically, CPUs currently are arranged with 2D connections to each transistors, and can only be 0 or 1 output. These babies can be connected in 3D links and have outputs up to I think 0 to 256, so we're talking several orders of magnitude in improvement.
