Subject: Poser Pro 2010 - Mixing OS (32 bit/ 64 bit)

I'm willing to upgrade to Poser 2010. I'm  working right now with Poser Pro and Poser 8 and they run under Windows Vista 32 Bit. I read a lot that Poser 2010 is much faster under 64 Bit OS, so I would upgrade to Window 7 64 Bit, too. But: I have several computers with Windows XP and Vista which render my images in the render queue. Can I mix 32 Bit Windows/Computer with 64 Bit Windows/Computers for the Render queue? Or do i have to upgrade all my computers to 64 Bit-OS?

Second question: are there any improvements on the render queue software? I would love to see, how far the image is rendered, perhaps as a percentage or as a preview. I think this would really helpful ..

As long as your PC has a reasonably high spec., you will see performance improvements in a 64-bit environment.

You put the most suitable version of Queue Manager onto x86 or x64 platforms.

The render queue interface has not, as far as I can see, changed since the previous version, though it does seem to connect with available nodes more reliably.

Rendering with Poser pro 2010 on 32bit windows is a painfully slow experience, save your sanity/hair & don't do it! ;)

Thanks for this input. So I can start with upgrading one machine and can still use the other machines with the Queue Manager. And if i find the money somewhere i still can upgrade them ...
