Let me starts by telling i have had a stroke and explaining this is an effort to me, i will give it my best shot. I need a tutorial on how a nude James is the primary figure & the greek armour is the secondary figure. How do i make the clothes do what james does IE: fighting poses.
If anyone can help me i would be most grateful.

the clothes have to be made for him and not some other figure
you must conform the clothing

Are you using armor made for James or trying to use armor made for another figure, like Michael?

Some people use a clothes converter to convert from one figure to another.

If you are using armor for James, then load the figure in a zero pose.  ( most figures load to zero)   Then load the armor and position it to where it is at the figure.   Most of the time I've noticed it loads into approximate position.  Other times I have to tweak it a bit.   Conform the piece of clothing to the figure.   You may also have to parent it to the body part it is on to get it to move with it.  I.E. Greeves parented to thighs, etc.

Now, with all that done, chose your pose with James - body selected.  The armor should move with the character.  There might be  some poke through at which you can either switch off body parts underneath or use morphs or magnets to fix that.  Usually just a touch of tweaking fixes it.

I hope your recover soon from your stroke.  I'll keep you in my thoughts.
