Yeah, I'm using DM shadows. I was using Raytraced on my first render attempt, but at 2 hours in, the render had only reached his forehead. So I switched to DM shadows and rendered again. Took 45 minutes, but I got the rippled shadows thing going on there.

I know this has been discussed on the forums before, but I didn't know in what thread or how long ago. So I am asking if someone knows. I've scaled down the image to post here. The problem is the ripples on my backdrop at the bottom of the image. What is doing this? And how do I fix this?
