Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2025 Feb 15 11:01 am)
I copied most of the material room bookmarks to the Rendo wiki.

Renderosity forum reply notifications are wonky. If I read a follow-up in a thread, but I don't myself reply, then notifications no longer happen AT ALL on that thread. So if I seem to be ignoring a question, that's why. (Updated September 23, 2019)
It was noted in the sticky thread that I had done so. I did some complaining at the time about Wiki syntax. grin
Eventually I wrote a program to convert the sticky thread to a Wiki article. Then it went faster.
Then I posted that I had done the original set of links, but many individual links were added in individual posts later and that it would be good if every day somebody grabbed one and added it. That didn't happen. As far as I know, after I did the initial hundred or so links, nobody worked on it.

So, do we need a Wiki sticky?

"Oh - the manual says that? I have never read the manual - this must be why."Ah. Thanks for adding a link to all of those discussions bill. It inspired me to go in and add the links to all of the poser nodes.
Someone also reworded a lot of page and I don't like the new wordings. Gotta fix that now too.

Threads un-sticky after nobody posts to them for a large amount of time, I believe it's 45 days.  You can try doing a search? Â

That's kinda problematic. Sam3d had a sticky of tutorials in the hex forum and they went bye-bye.

That's the standard forum software, unfortunately.  The trick is to either bookmark the thread, or post to it once in a while, even with a "bump", to keep it a sticky.  Otherwise, it'll just re-join the rest of the forum. Â

I was about to check the information laden sticky created by Acadia and it is no longer in the Poser Forum. We know she is taking an extended leave but her sticky also disappearing. That should be a permanent fixture. Can anyone explain?
