Subject: AdvancedGraph?

I have Vue 8 Studio.  In looking at the modules, AdvancedGraph sounded very helpful.  It was one of the cheap ones, so I bought it.  Coming from Vue 6, I expected to get a key to enable the module.  Nope, it was a download that claimed to be 33.1mb.  I'm on a dialup, but that sounded like a reasonable size.

After hours and hours I got it downloaded.  It was 146mb!  I've had files that were a little bigger than listed, but this is the record!

Now the question.  For 146mb, what the heck did I get?  I now have only 4 grayed-out modules on the startup screen instead of 5, but where did the 146mb go?  A file that big should have left something somewhere.  I sure don't see it.

Well, look at the bottom of the world browser, you now have another 5th icon that looks like a typical function editor connection. If you select an object from the world browser, and click on that icon, you can create dependencies for this object in the function editor. For example, you could constrain the rotation of a sunflower plant to a light's position. Now move the light, and see the plant rotating to follow it.

I finally found that out by scrolling through the manual just a while ago.  Turns out that search can't fnd it if you put a space between the words ;)

I can try to use it now, but I still can't understand why it took a 146mb executable to enable it.  Seems like that should have left more of a footprint.

I said "try" to use it because it has even less documentation than ecosystems.  They hint at what these things can do, but don't give you a clue about how to use them.  How did you find out about the sunflower thing?  Thanks for the help, bruno.
