can Poser 7 be installed on Window 7 64bit and how do you do it?

Yes it can, I'm using it right now.

Run as admin & DON'T install into the Program Files folder.

*That's dependant on how comfortable or not you are with switching the UAC off.
My Poser 6, 7 and 8 are all in Programme Files under Windows 7 Ultimate 64 and I have no problems whatsoever in running them.
I don't have the UAC on, there is more than adequate protections in place on my rig and in my own knowledge, I don't need nannying by a UAC..

True, I did switch it off for a while but thanks to me being a bit daft I had to reinstall when everything went A.O.T.

I'm using Ubuntu now in place of Windows.
