Subject: Importing 3ds object into Carrara

Does anyone have an accurate factor to use when importing a 3ds object?  I have been using .33, and that seems to yield a pretty good result in scale.  Is there a definitive factor?

Lotus 123 ~ S-Render ~ OS/2 WARP ~ IBM 8088 / 4.77 Mhz ~ Hercules Ultima graphics, Hitachi 10 MB HDD, 64K RAM, 12 in diagonal CRT Monitor (16 colors / 60 Hz refresh rate), 240 Watt PS, Dual 1.44 MB Floppies, 2 button mouse input device.  Beige horizontal case.  I don't display my unit.

There isn't sorry to say. The values are assigned by the exporting program and not all applications default to the same settings. DAZ content is created with some markers to assist in that but the Carrara legacy content doesn't use those conventions either.

Hey, if it was easy, everybody would do it.

I was afraid of that.  Thanks, Mark.
