Subject: Sequenced background images

Is there a way to import a sequenced image animation as background in Carrara 8 Pro instead of .avi or Quicktime?  I don't see it listed in dropdown box.

 No, it has to be in a movie format. C8 is not a video editor so it doesn't have some of the niceties that pure editors do.

Mark Bremmer! Yes shure you can. Just use the MAp option and load you sequenced image. You can save as sequence and use as background or Backdrop.

 Cool to know. Thanks GK. As you you can tell, my pipeline leans towards standard video production so I miss some of the background options since keeping things in layers for film/video is the rule. 

That's why I love this forum. Everybody can learn something!
