I'm not sure if this info is correct or not but it suggests that Final Fantasy animations were made with Metaseq???

No desrespect to 'Metasequoia' but I find that bit of a shocker... Interesting and I'm not disputing just surprised...

Thanks for sharing this tidbit of info....

Yeah, Metaseq is cool and all but if it was used for any Final Fantasy, I think they mean for the in game character models in the Nintendo DS 3D remakes and not the actual full motion videos that FF is known for.

It doesn't animate perse though there are a good number of plugins, keynote for example, which does some things. Japanese is required.

Kenmo
I'm spprised at your suprise.
Its as capable modeller as any other and huge in Japan. I think this is what puts people off it (japanese help!). There aren't perhaps as many options with the tools as wings, or for that matter C4d or Max (there are always other methods of getting your topology where needed) but in all honesty there is no shape I see or visualise that cannot be replicated.

Finally, and I presume others do the same thing, since discovring the world of 3d I now look at everything in the real world from it's topology and a general 'How would I make and texture that?' point of view. I don't know whether its been a good thing or bad!
