Marque Download Eyecandy 3 Promotion Over (Due to all of the BS) Well guys, you can thank all of the people who emailed me accusing me of being a fraud, email address harvester, and a fake for the premature ending of this promotion. I had intended to keep the download open until the end of this weekend to make sure that everyone had a fair chance at receiving this generous offer from Alien Skin. But, as with the Amapi download, out of about 5,000 downloads I got a hell of alot more flames than I did thanks. I don't necessarily do it for the praise (although I like it when I get it) I do it because I like to give. For all of you who chose to email me and accuse me of being a morally wrong person without even bothering to find out if there might have been a legitimate problem all I can say is that I truly do believe people such as yourselves are why there is less and less free stuff on the internet. Maybe next time you should consider that (although unlikely) there may just be another person on the other end of the modem with actual feelings that can be hurt. To those of you who got the download, enjoy! To those of you who didn't, I can only apologize. The actions of the few have once again ruined it for the majority. Eric

This just really saddens me, I don't know if most of you realize that In-Depth Arts has just given homes to most of us from this and the wider 3d and digital arts communities. If it weren't for Eric, Posergamers would still be shut now. I wonder when people will just stop jumping to conclusions before finding out the whole story. Eric, I'm sure I speak for most that efforts like yours are outstanding and nothing a few upstarts can say or do will mar them. I was also lucky enough to get the Amapi download and I remember it stayed up longer than originally intended so people could get it. Thank you for everything Eric.

Eric, I'm another who appreciates your efforts. I already had Eyecandy 3 but I did get Amapi. Very sad that a few can screw things up for the many. We certainly appreciate the fact, too, that you are hosting some of these 'homeless' sites S. Diane
