Subject: Cloth room issue

DarkElegance ( ) posted Fri, 16 July 2010 at 10:34 AM · edited Sun, 04 August 2024 at 8:50 PM

I am having an issue with the cloth room. When I take a (dynamic)prop in...or even the primitive cloth square, it will not allow me to select points to constrain.
When I go to the "edit constrained group"  it wont allow me to select one or even a handful...it will either allow me to select all or none.

I use to be able to do it. but suddenly it wont.
I have tried a reinstall, I have tried a defrag, I have tried installing on another partition...and nothing.
it is really making it difficult to make anything dynamic. I cant "pin" anything to get the drape or flow I want.
It is poser 6 with all the updates for it.

Any clue as to how to get this to work again? it use to work ...and now doesnt O.o

I know of two issues with this. One is that you sometimes have to switch to Sree3d preview drawing for it to work.  The other is that it sometimes doesn't allow you to select if you are too close to the figure (some near clipping thing I think)

mm Ill try the switch to Scree3d preview(thanks I hadnt thought of that ).

but I have tried this very close to the item( so I can just select one or two points) and far away and tried to select a "chunk".

Ill pop it back open and try your suggestion...crosses fingers I hope it woks.
