My guess is that the main female character is nude and the pink flowers are a body painting LOL

The fairy is, by Rosity definition, in need of a nudity flag.  Take it up with the staff, if you must.

Well by what the currently displayed standards of Nudity are, I know a few people who's Avatars break THIS rule:

Avatars may not contain nudity

LaurieA ( ) posted Tue, 27 July 2010 at 7:41 PM

As far as the galleries are concerned, if you can see both bare butt cheeks at once (with crack), it's nudity. That's where the nudity is.

You asked.

the caterpillar is clearly naked.

Content Advisory! This message contains profanity

Look, some ppl get on this place while at work. While that's not always a good thing, some might need to get on here for some reason, especially if their work is 3D related either to buy something or ask a question or whatever. Some ppl have children. In those situations, I don't think I'd be happy to see a big pair of tits flash up on the screen. It's for reasons such as those that images need to be tagged. There's also something else we need to remember...we don't own the site, therefore we don't make the rules. Like you wouldn't smoke as a guest in a non-smoking home, you either grin and bear it or you go elsewhere. There are only a select few for whom the rules seem to be some sort of major hardship. I don't get it, but that's just me. Maybe secure a free website and put your gallery there if you're so disenchanted with the rules here. Seems every other day now someone is moaning and bawling about the rules (which have been the same for nearly 5 years now). It's getting tiring.

lol WTB...crosspost ;o)

I flag mine for nudity even if there's only one butt cheek half exposed. (I do a lot of half-assed images.)
Seriously, we should all know the TOS by now. Following the rules is no great hardship.

Boy, good thing I didn't try to  post anything with my Poser treads.  I am enjoyed at other sites under a different name.  I guess I'll keep it that way.  Apparently, it is okay if you check violence or nudity, then it doesn't matter, or does it?  New to forum, but have been buying for a long time.

Nudity is fine Nauerth so long as it's tagged as such (read the TOS for specifics). I guess some just want anything and everything in the gallery, free of tags and rules ;o).

The reason that the rules go so overboard is because people have abused what they could get away with in the past. Kind of the "give an inch and they'll take a mile" kind of thing. Now, it's ridiculous, I'll agree, but for a reason. Actually, I don't know why ppl have such a problem with nudity tags anyway - more ppl will click on it just on the off chance they might see a big pair of computer generated mams.

The faerie's bum is partially exposed.

Ironically if it was a full bum to camera view and the faerie was wearing a thong bikini bottom, with said thong string visible,  it would not be considered a naked bum or require the nudity flag because she was wearing underwear, even if said underwear was a thong.

However, since the faerie is sideways and there is no visible indication that she is wearing any kind of clothing on the bottom (even a thong because said thong is not visible in anyway), it gives the illusion of being bare bottomed, hence the requirement for a nudity flag.

I don't proclaim to understand this.

The cat is nude, it is not dressed and covered by a Burqa.

Sorry. I'm new here. Although I'm new here, I have seen statues in public venues that display far more nudity than I typically see on this site. I'm just suprised that there is such a commotion over a bit of exposed digital flesh. BA

ghonma ( ) posted Tue, 27 July 2010 at 10:53 PM

It's basically so 'rosity doesn't get flagged as a porn site and lose their commercial/payment partners. Paypal for example will simply not do business with such sites. Having a nudity flag, no nudity in thumbs and strictly enforcing both probably allows them to sorta fly under the radar.

I looked at OP's img and it didn't look like a nudie pic to me.  ISTR the mods sometimes get
angry if one checks "nudity" when none is present, hence one is not advised to do so.

Thanks for the brilliant exposition on faerie bums. As in physics, so it is with the TOS, with each new discovery revealing yet more questions to be answered. What would be the verdict on an animation, where at the start both the faerie's bum cheeks were visible in profile, giving the delightful but false impression that the dark star was not eclipsed, only to reveal in later frames that a g-string occludes the jewel of the south? Would the animation be judged nude because of the false impression given in the first frames? Or would the modesty of a g-string made evident in subsequent frames redeem the animation from the stigma of anal exhibitionism?

Questions like this give the lie to the assertion that 'modern society has answered all the great questions of philosophy'!

Laurie hit it on the nail.

The flags are there for a reason. You (the member) can decide on your profile if you wish to see or not see nudity, violence, or language. By using these flags correctly, it makes it so those member's wishing not to see those things don't.

If you have any question on these feel free to post here or you can contact myself or any staff. :)

EugyptuS: I have site mailed earlier. I see no reason for this to continue.

Les: a g-string is considered nudity. So in all, the animation would still be considered for a "nudity flag".
