Mac 10.5.8 When I import into Poser 7&8 I get this funny shaping in the .obj. If I import into my 3d Program Cheetah 3d or into Vue7 pro studio the .obj looks fine. I also notice that the reflection maps and transparency maps have to be color inverted to work in Poser (why is that different?) Thanks any way of gettig rid of the bumpyness. The .obj is high poly.

Not sure what it is suppose to look like. Could it be Smoothing? Is that a Render?

Transparency Maps are Masks, making the items in Black transparent. Not sure if that is what you are speaking about.

Yes it is a Render, and the mask must be inverted from my other software Vue and Cheetah. Where white is transparent and black is no transparency.

As ratscloset said, it's hard to say why your object looks "funny" when you don't say in what way you think it looks funny, and do not provide us with any clue as to what it should look like. If it looks a different shape in the rendered image than it did in the preview, then the culprit is probably smoothing, try turning 'Smooth Polygons' off in the objects Properties. If that does not help, show us, or tell us what it is supposed to look like.

I think what we both are trying to say... can you show us a Render of what it is suppose to look like. There are just too many factors to guess at the cause.
