Subject: Applying tattoo's

Probably a simple question, but just double checking. How do you apply a tattoo to a figure? Do you apply it to the texture that is already being used for the figure or do you apply it to the figure? Thanks for any advice.

This tutorial illustrates one method.

I'm sure that other methods exist.

Renderosity forum reply notifications are wonky. If I read a follow-up in a thread, but I don't myself reply, then notifications no longer happen AT ALL on that thread. So if I seem to be ignoring a question, that's why. (Updated September 23, 2019)

I found this tutorial to be a great help "Decals in Poser 5,6 and 7 using nodes."

Here is a tutorial I made to apply tattoos directly onto textures, to get a proper sub-dermal look to them:

Rawn´s method is the one to go if you´re used to photoshop.
I´ve used the same technique for my American Outlaws images.
It´s fast...and fun ;)

Another great tip for tattoos is to use the 'Blend if' in the Layers options in Photoshop.
