Subject: Poser Pro 2010 Setup

I just installed Poser Pro 2010 and everything seems to have gone well, but when I try to install Daz's V4, it goes in alright (I think) but when I open Poser Pro, it isn't in the libraries. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Was Poser Pro open while you installed V4?  If so then hit the refresh button on the library tab or just close and restart PP!  If that doesn't work you may want to check your Runtime folder to ensure you installed there correctly.

You can check the path of your Poser library folders by hovering over an item in the library - if hovering doesn't show the path, change the library options so that it does . As ghelmer said... make sure you install V4 into the runtime that shows up there.

Poser 8 & Prose Pro 2010 both have the option to store the main runtime outside the program folder, somewhere in your documents folders, I forget exactly where as I chose to include it in the main install folder, Windows 7 & Vista also make installing to the Program files folder troublesome.

Do a search in your documents for Runtime, if it's there you'll have to add it as an extra runtime in the library screen so Poser can see it.
