Hi thefixer,
Man - I thought I was the last Microsoft hardcore hold out in the world. :)
It took me years to leave IE and go with another browser....Man, once I did I'll never go back.
I was also a hardcore Intel hold out. However, I just went with a Hexacore AMD processor and wow...glad I did much better bang for your buck than Intel.
I'm running Windows 7 Pro 64 these days as well.
:)

I’m a Die Hard Microsoft nut too… Never was a fan of the “Browser of the Month” club. I tried FF for a short time but it seemed to be more work keeping up with plug-ins n-stuff than it was worth.(remember “Nutscrape?)
HOWEVER…I’ve learned to “NOT” upgrade to the latest browser version until lots of the kinks have been worked out… In fact…I only recently upgraded to IE 7. I will not install IE8 until I absolutely have to…It integrates itself so deep into Windows that uninstalling it is a pain…I don’t like installing anything that I can not uninstall readily.

I just had to repair my windows install after 8 years. One of the things you have to do is upgrade IE6 that is standard on the windows disk to IE8 to remove a bug that keeps poping up if you had a more advanced version of IE installed before.
Every sence I upgraded this site loads slow as hell. I did figure out it is all the site scripts. Specificly the side bar scripts that sometimes takes more then 5 minutes to load.
Just thought you should know.
