And in my final hours - I would cling rather to the tattooed hand of kindness - than the unblemished hand of hate...
Were it not for him there very likely would not have even been a Bryce...sad news but he had a great life and deserves the rest...RIP to a great man....the next Bryce comp/challenge should, IMO be dedicated to him....just a thought for the next winner when it comes time to choosing a theme.. ...
Once
in a while I look around,
I see
a sound
and
try to write it down
Sometimes
they come out very soft
Tinkling light sound
The Sun comes up again
A loss? His legacy will live on, just like the Mandlebrot, forever and ever, deeper, no matter how much we will zoom into it.
I would say thank you Benoit for guiding us to that wonderfull world that fractals are giving us, again and again.
PS, thanks for hiring mr. Musgrave.

Benoit Mandelbrot, a mathematician who developed the field of fractal geometry died on October 7th at 85 years old.
Serious Brycers will know that in 1987 at Yale University, Benoit Mandelbrot hired a reasearch assistant by the name of Ken Musgrave and Ken would later be the father of Bryce's beginings.
