I have edit pad pro but they don't seem to have my email addy to get my license, even though they send me ads all the time to buy new products and upgrade. Been using it since they came out but don't have time to wait for an email need something on this system today. Thanks though.

Will check out the other one though. Can someone please tell me why when I hit enter at the end of the sentence it kicks me down so many lines? Is it something in Rendo's settings?

Ah, last week when RO was in the process of "fixing" the unbroken reply box, they broke the spacing...lol. When you do a hard return, it now puts in a double space and I assume a lot of us are used to putting in our own double spaces when we create a new paragraph. They say they're workin' on it.

Rather than "Enter" for a new line, use Shift+Enter.
Works for me :)

I remember this question from posts past, and someone mentioned something called 'the crimson editor'...which just tickled me mightily...;)

I you're into pain, I recommend vim and emacs...;)

But if you want all the bells and whistles, Open Office is free, which gives you an Office Clone (good one, tho).

@Pakled: I must be masochistic as I use VIM and the Poser.vim file which color codes all the stuff in the .cr2 ::biggrin::

I use the free EditPad Lite. I particularly like its ability to Search & Replace multiple lines of text.

Vim just drove me nutsoid, because every other character would turn into a command...;)

But there are those who swear by it...;)

Crimson editor is free and awesome!!!!!!! It opens Poser files nice and neat and are easy to read so you can fix mistakes in the files. I love it.

DarkEdge ( ) posted Wed, 03 November 2010 at 6:23 PM
