Is wind just broken in Poser 8 SR3?  I can't get a wind generator to do anything at all despite making all the settings enormous (from 10 to 100 to 10,0000 for amplitude, etc) and making sure the thing is pointed at my cloth.

I dont know about it being broken in poser 8sr3, I have always had mixed results when using the wind generators.  I think I am probably missing something :)

I know they work because I have seen them work, getting them to work consistently seems to be my issue.

I used them in Poser 7 and it was no big trick, I hadn't touched them since installing P8 and ... damn thing is doing absolutely nothing!

Yeah this seems to be just plain broken, setting up a cloth sim in P7 with a wind generator works as I'd expect.  Guess I'll try opening the P7 scene in P8 and see if I'm somehow missing something - I can't see what but whatever.

Ah there it goes - I deleted the generator and added a new one, the only thing I did different this time round is that I didn't use Point At.

There we go - sometimes Poser really surprises me in good ways, but usually that's after a lot of profanity and hate directed at it.
