Subject: P7 Problems

I have a new Comp with Windows 7...I'm having problems loading Poser 7 into it..It would start then stop,Start then Stop...I've looked in the Poser site to see if they had any updates for windows 7 uploading but didn't find anything...

Is there a easy way to load Poser 7 into windows 7?

I'm afraid now on what's going to happen when I try to load Vue and other older programs

Thank You for any help on this matter

Just don't install Poser to a C/Programs... directory User Acct Control issues W7 does not like apps writing to that dir. and that's what poser does

The way I got it to work was to load Poser7 on the main drive in a folder by itself.

Do not load it in the program files.

Then go to the Poser exe file and right click, a window will pop up, and click on run as administrator. It will then run fine.

Okay I'm in the middle of loading P7 and it seems to be loading quite fast now with out stopping...But the info should be very helpful when loading other older programs...That is a strange Bug for Win7 to have..Thank You guys for the info..I hope when it's finished loading it'll work alright.Will update

Trying to learn this new OS,Had Win XP and this one is very different:)
