Subject: Bryce Objects Nano-Viewer

Greetings all!

Concerning the Objects nano-viewer, how to master it?

I make an object or a new model and want to save it in Bryce's .obp format. So I select the object and go the the "Create" item, the little arrow there, for object presets. A dialog box appears with preset thumbnails and the nano-viewer there shows my selected object. It is always small. I can zoom into it or out, rotate the view, but that's it. I would have to exit the presets dialog and reposition the object itself and return to the preset window to see a slightly different position of my object. But still can't maneuver the object within the nano-viewer itself enough to get the view of the object that I want. I will have to exit the presets and play with positioning the object. The nano-viewer in the preset window is so limited. Is there a better way to position the object so one wouldn't have to fight so much with the nano-viewer?

I have a feeling this topic has been covered before.

While having the object in the nano viewer you can press the cntrl key or the alt key to give you more axis in the movement,,,  The space bar I believe will move the object up and down as well...

Before you even press for the create browser...  How you place the object in the stage is important...  the light is always in one direction.. You need to experiment and find the sweet spot... otherwise the object will be dark...  it is usually right to left lighting,,,

Excellent! That's exactly what I needed to know. I tried alt, shift, ctrl, all sorts of combinations of those and the mouse buttons.. but never the space bar. Thanks!
