Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2025 Jan 06 7:01 am)
Which version of Poser, hun? Often improper saving of files can be due to OS issues: too many rubbish files (like .tmp), fragmentation, or it could be a Poser issue, depending on the version, I guess.

Oh, a MAC! :blushing: No clue what might be doing it then. I assumed a PC - silly me - because I sometimes get issues like that and a good defrag and registry cleanup and temp file clean-up usually fixes it.
But a Mac? No idea. Sorry, GreenEyedGirl.
BTW, which Service Release for Poser 7?

I am having a strange issue when I save a material in poser. I open a texture for the characters eye, and save it as a material. Then when I click to load the material next time I open Poser, I get an error that says that the file is not a valid poser file. Has anyone else had this problem? What am I doing wrong? Is there a solution? It's incredibly frustrating because it happens on some materials and not others. Any suggestions?
