Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2025 Jan 24 6:22 pm)
I would look at the cr2 for the clothing and make sure there isnt a value in the setting for abdomen and chest thats putting it off at the start. It looks like some of your pokethrough might go away if the gown was straight.
You should also use the magnetize pose so that the built in magnets will affect the clothing for V4. If you dont you wont get quite the same morph.
I would suggest you post to PhilC for help as well.
Quote - When I comform it to Victoria 4, the chest decides to bend to the left, which is like the gown would be leaning sideways but V4 is upright. Not good...
Try this. Load the conformer into an empty scene. Make sure the translations of the Body and hip are zero. Zero the figure in the Joint Editor. Memorize the figure. Save it back to the Figure palette.
I've gotten similar conforming problems before when I didn't keep neck and head groups in the CR2 file (even if they are not in the geometry). Does your CR2 file still have these in it. If not you might try adding them and see if it helps.
Ok first chriscox, oops no i didnt keep the neck, that's prob solved the first issue, thanks :D.....
Second DarkEdge, it is perfectly aligned until i comform it, but the poke throughs I'm refering to are different ones than the ones in the photo (those can easily be fixed by bending the gown back into position) but the bad poke throughs are in the arms when I bend her arms down or forward.... :D
And markschum, thanks, maybe after I try some more stuff I will let'cha check it out... thanks :D

If we are on the same page with the arems poking through, I too find it a nightmare. Here is what I use to correct that problem. A really valuable product to fix the arms.

I have PoseMorphLoader too . it works great with any editor I have (Hexagon, Silo, Sculptris).

I made a nice graduation gown and cap, then I used AutoGroup Editor to transfer the groups from V4 to the gown, and it's good. Used Cr2Editor to make a cr2 file with the PBMCC's included for morphs. Good, then imported it into Poser and started the process of editing the joints... Everything is perfect (torso bends, twists and goes side to side perfectly). Then I bent the arms front-back (has poke through in shoulder that can't seemed to be fixed my way...), down (has poke through in arm-pits that I can't get rid of....), twist (perfect). I fidgeted with the settings but can't fix those stubborn poke throughs. And then there's one other problem that would be far too noticeable if and when I sell or give this..... When I comform it to Victoria 4, the chest decides to bend to the left, which is like the gown would be leaning sideways but V4 is upright. Not good...
Please explain the painful process of Joint editing a long sleeved outfit? Btw, no matter what long sleeved shirt or dress I make it always does the bend sideways without V4 thing. Thank you!
